“I had the great fortune of having Rachael as my doula for my first vaginal birth. She provided support while I labored at home, at the birthing center, and also at the hospital when I was transferred. I highly recommend her services and am so grateful to have had her consistent support throughout the entire process of birthing my daughter into this world. She provided encouragement and comfort, assisted with labor positions to manage pain and increase productivity. She went above and beyond providing food during my long labor and even took some photos capturing moments that I will cherish forever. It really made a difference having her there in addition to my husband, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. Having an extra hand to hold and someone to take turns doing hip squeezes thru contractions, as well as providing support and reassurance to my support team, was extremely valuable. “

“Six years ago, when I came to the United States, I was pregnant with my first child. It was not easy for me since I had no family member or acquaintance in this country that was foreign to me. Rachael was a great support to me and was always attentive to everything I told her down to the smallest details. She accompanied me to the hospital for my prenatal visits until my delivery. The day when I started labor, even though it was her birthday, she was at my side in the delivery room. Her presence was like a light that illuminated my being despite the pain of the contractions.  She gave the best of herself and after almost 24 hours of labor, my boy was born. To top it all off, she took pictures for me and mine.”
